Very popular in many of BL's finest... Is that a Metro by any chance?

A lively bit of upholstery on a very cordoba beige L spec of one of the UK's most popular cars.

Not a Metro Jim, the cordoba beige should have given it away, and you always say Mk 1's are the best

Not keen on the wheels but the standard ones also come with the car.

Interesting you mentioned the wheels Neil, they are the ones I had on my Mk1 Escort RS2000 and they suited that car but I agree they look too chunky for the Fiesta!! :-D

I did wonder if it was a Fiesta too... I almost tossed a coin...

I do like a MK1 Fiesta and definitely another case of original and best :D Not fond of the colour though... It's a bit too beige for my liking...

BMW Isetta Day viewtopic.php?p=800400#p800400

Nice and simple speedo, few lights and the odd knob and lever.

An illustration. This website has full brochures across many car makes including back to the "old days" of the 80's and 90's and many before of the various models, from a number of countries. The Citroen collection is linked to directly here and goes back to the AX,BX,CX, XM, Xantia etc as well as C5 and more recent models. A very good resource of such things.
Example
Little bit of "trompe l'oeil" here from an AX original brochure...quite a spacious interior!

Indeed, the interior of Series 1 AX is very airy and spacious :-D Almost Tardis-like ;)

The S2 AX seemed to be less so...

Once again, Series 1 - original and best

The keen follower of this thread will be familiar with the "reverse sweep" tachometer, and the models of car which sport one recorded in its pages. How many makes/models of car have a reverse sweep Speedometer though :?:

Well at least one....this the car of the day

Yes that is a particularly good "reverse sweep" example because the pointer moves anti-clockwise.

Looking again at the Bentley occurence, the pointer sweeps clockwise, and the oddity is that that it sweeps right to left with the numbers being in the lower half, as opposed to the upper half of the dial.

Recently had a hire car for a work trip, what turned up was a Vauxhall Cross land. Three cylinder petrol turbo, anyway reason for posting it here:
