I don't have it as bad as you, but am very prone to getting migraines if I push myself too far or don't get enough rest.

Got a few things to sort out here first, but should be free between 3 and 4 if that suits you, won't be able to stick around today as shuffling quite a few other things around, but should only be a five minute job really. Decent light and a flat surface should be all that's needed.

I now find I have duff ultrasonic transducers following a couple of false alarms... I must remember to set, until I replace them, with the ultrasonics defeated....

I did see a lot of ultrasonic alarms when I looked at the alarm operates log with the Lexia yesterday so I'm not surprised...

I also checked the vacuum fast idle and find the vacuum side of it is working but the cable and pump are way out of adjustment. Looks like someone has been fiddling without understanding how the system works. That fiddling happened a long, long time ago though...

It's not pressing but I will sort it out as having the cold fast idle working properly is a boon in the winter months...

Just disconnect the ultrasonics and forget about them. A better long term solution.

According to Mandrake you can disconnect the left hand unit, as this is the microphone.

No worries Jim, glad to help. Did make me realise how long it is since I last did any work on that scale! Got there in the end though, hope the repair proves reliable.

Surprising they relied on the solder for all the physical support for the switch in there, better design would have been to have a plastic lip behind the buttons to provide some support.

Gabriel now has a complete new exhaust and an MOT That's all done for another year. Just the girl's cars to get through MOTs.

Only problem is that both my Xantia MOTs expire at roughly the same time... Not good planning but at least I have their road taxes a fair few months apart...

Looks like only Sian's Pixo will be up for MOT next year as Robyn is planning on buying a new car as soon as she starts work proper shortly... She's speaking of getting a Vauxhall Adam... I know nothing of the Adam except that they are quite attractive.

Her 207 is playing up at the moment. It's randomly cutting out. It does this from time to time and the usual fix is to do a full BSI reset. I'll be doing that on Friday but in the meantime she's borrowing Sian's Pixo. Sian won't mind as she's currently having the time of her life in Australia...

Just worked out my C1 is up for an MOT next year too...

I'm sure she'll fly through Zel, as long as you take her to a place that understands steering boxes and her other peculiarities Steve should be well up to the task I reckon...

He cussed a bit at fitting the exhaust today... He had to do a bit of fettling to make it all fit but he's done his usual good job.

Made me giggle as Gabriel was parked right in front of the Aston Martin heritage works when I went to collect her... Bet they loved that

I have just popped a very essential spare part into Gabriel's glove box.. A clutch clip along with sufficient tools to be able to change it on the road if need be

Also need to find a meter which has the ability to measure duty cycle...none of mine do! Can't quite justify a new scope just for that though...much as I'd love to pick up a DSO!
