That was followed on autoplay by this:

Can't stand him but the featured artist is to my liking.
Particularly memorable as I was at work, this was on the radio and interrupted to announce the attack on the Twin Towers.

Seeing as the clock has just ticked past midnight I racked up at least 4 tracks from my personal collection with midnight in the title, Confessin' Midnight Robin Trower, After Midnight Eric Clapton, Midnight at the Oasis Maria Muldaur, and this one from the Doobie Brothers, gorgeous track South City Midnight Lady

Pickled Egg Jukebox-Charles Special

Unread post by NewcastleFalcon »

For the 10th of September 2022, expiring at Midnight tonight a Pickled Egg Jukebox Special.

Not a quickfire get in quick thing, at your lesuire see if you can come up with some interesting-themed tracks in honour of Charles III based on the name
Charles

and allowable without being too pedantic the various incarnations of the name across the world eg Carol/Karl/Carlos/Carlo/Charlie/Chas/Chuck/ etc etc.

Titles/Artists/within lyrics anything goes, no curating or moderating from me
and with poetic licence and themestarter's priviledge I'll start you off with Charlemagne, Charles the Great, and the track "Kid Charlemagne" from Steely Dan with the famous Larry Carlton Guitar solos in the main body at 2.18 in the vid and at 3.48 in the fade-out.

I give you the lights from the 1966 Vanden-Plas owned and last driven by one of the world's best-loved entertainers, the late Charles Aznavour
