After trying many pharmacies got one this morning.
As usual, no reaction whatsoever.
Other than severe unhappiness at having to get organised so early.

Which one? Pfizer or Moderna? Moderna is said to give less adverse reactions...

'flu.
Had the Corona a couple of weeks ago, no idea what flavour, as usual, no reaction whatsoever.
Same with all jabs and medicines, they don't upset me but don't have any beneficial effect either, except Voltarol that burns my guts so live with the pain that it doesn't touch anyway.
Like coffee, tea and some non-prescription 'medication'. No reaction at all.

Didn't have the 'flu one when offered for years as all those I worked with were made quite ill by it and as I never get colds and never had 'flu thought it wasn't worth the risk.

I had zero reaction to the 'flu jab Steve, it was the Pfizer Covid jab that did for me...

I once had a bad reaction to the 'flu jab and stopped it for several years but not have it yearly...

Since I was diagnosed with ME some 10 year ago now I've never had a cold or 'flu of any substance, a few sniffles and feeling a bit off for a day or two but nothing more... In fact the only significant was Covid in April 2020 and that only got me as I was in the early stages of accident recovery... And then it lasted days rather than weeks...

My immune system is definitely a bit out of kilter... To my advantage it seems...

After Covid I could not drink tea any longer... Since then I can only drink coffee!

Voltarol does nothing for me... You know you apply it to the skin near the hurting spot and not eat it don't you?

It was the ingested stuff that I was prescribed. May have been labelled Diclofenac and was tablets.
Have also used the topical stuff with equally disappointing results.

Ahh, never realised it also came in tablet form Steve... Every day's a school day...

If you read the MSDS on it, Diclofenac is some pretty vicious stuff... Not only does the topical stuff do nothing for me, nor does paracetamol or ibuprofen...

The only pain relief that I know definitely works for me is morphine!

Yes, it does Mick! Those endorphins do the trick a treat

Allegedly they act in the same was as cannabis does! And it's legal

Not with running shoes at well over £100 a pair every 700 miles or so, Garmin running watches north of £250 for a good multi-sport one and well over £100 for a decent pair of bone conductors...

Trouble is, if you don't spend a decent amount of money on proper high-quality shoes your feet soon suffer very badly... Never getting blisters is priceless

Race entry fees aren't cheap either...

But like any drug addiction, I'm happy to pay the price

I'm afraid that I would skip that lot and just use plimsolls.

But skip the running too.

My daughter said I should get 'proper walking shoes'
What does she think the shoes that I have are for?

Not buying any 'trainers'.

And a lot harder to get from the doctor's these days, so a top tip for anyone who relies on it because it works - you can get it over the counter at the pharmacists in Germany if you happen to be over there and want to get some supplies.
