You could do a compression check anyway, while at it. Got to tell you something.

Just a quick update engine is running well no smoke anyway and no fault codes as yet, I have started another post because of suspension fault if anyone has any pointers would be appreciated.

well I spoke too soon turbo pressure too low fault and smoking over 2500 rpm  replacement turbo is a dud #-oand now its over the 30 day return  . The suspension is working again unplugged all connectors and plugged them back in and the relaxing sound of a good pump 8-) that at least.

Ah man, that's rotten luck!
Having said that, I've often had satifactory results pleading the case to ebay sellers that it just wasn't possible to test their item within their stated conditions. Even if it just meant a partial repayment, it all helps and worth asking if you haven't already?

On the flip-side, well done fixing your suspension!

Cheers Mike yeah its starting to come together I am disgusted over the turbo because she is running lovely and no leaks so I am nearly there. The seller is adamant that its my problem so I think I am wasting my time. How did you get on yourself you were having breather problems the last time we spoke.

Hi lads another update,I figured out ow to get the turbo out from below the car on the driveway,an absolute pig of a job I will do a wiki when I am finished. I checked with the local scrappy to see if he had a turbo to fit the C5 [-o< but alas no :miserable: , BUT, :-k :-k I took a gamble on a Fiat Scudo turbo looks more or less identical but a few differences, so robbed the CHRA out of the scudo turbo which is in excellent condition no unwanted movement and the waste gate assembly off the dud I bought off fleabay which was fresher looking than my original and combined it with the compressor housing off my original turbo which was in better condition than the duds. So all looks and feels ok [-o< . wish me luck. :)

Hi lads just a quick question but does anyone know what the colour code is for the plugs on the solenoids for the turbo, EGR and doseur valve. I cant remember the colour coding on them and dont want to mess up my rebuilt turbo.
