Also no charge to transfer the funds from PP to the underlying Bank Account...

They charge a fee for a commercial transaction but gifts are free.

Yes ... free if you have a bank account or debit card linked to your PP account. I have a credit card with a smallish limit atrached and for that a 3.4% fee would apply.

I don't know about PayPal John but the main forum bank account is run on that basis..

I believe, had you 'gifted' the money you would not have incurred charges...

I've gifted in the past to other PP accounts and not apparently been charged...

Try this:-

Log into your Paypal account
Click on "Pay or send money"
Click "Send money to friends & family
In the box type forumfund (at) bxclub.co.uk - type @ rather than (at)
Enter an amount plus an optional note
Click "Continue"

Job done, though I couldn't find the "Gift" button others have mentioned, so PP dug in a little too.
No harm. It's not as if I do this every day.
I like the idea of stickers, cards, etc.
Cit would certainly be sporting one or two, if they were available.
