Sorry John, I have no advice different to the suggestions already offered. Haven't really had much trouble with my C5s. MAF has been the biggest problem, plus a dead injector and slack throttle cable. Also rubbish economy but that is probably me rather than the car as they are all the same.

No obviously not, been to head full with my own one to sort out..

Ill go have a look now, and see what I can work out...

Firstly, I would NOT worry about post heating relay or anything.. HDi s will always start without them, so dis regard them for now.

That leaves Air Flow meter. Its having issues with the air flow meter. So that needs sorting out first.

Brake pedal switch issue should also NOT stop the car from starting.

Can you take a VIDEO of the Parameter Measurements when starting the car??

Have you manaed to Erase Any of the faults at all??

A number of stored faults may cause a non start too....

I know its hardly a clear diagnosis.. but its my first ever lexia session,., you are all supposed to say, 'John, change the black relay on the left, and your car will run faultlessly for another 1 and a 1/2 years '

I don't have any experience with the HDi engine but looking at those fault codes I'd be concerned about the one saying the accelerator pedal sensor is "jammed", I'm assuming it means it thinks the pedal is pushed right down. Also looks like there are some fault codes relating to glow plugs not being powered, which can't help in 5 degrees.

By the way you can go into each fault code (press enter on it) to get a screen with "snapshot" data, this is additional data that was saved at the time that the fault code was logged, which can sometimes be helpful.

Because you have so many faults logged its hard to know which are irrelevant old codes and which are current and relevant ones, or to figure out which codes are cause and which ones are side effects...

For example the one saying flow meter (MAF sensor ?) reading too low could be a symptom of the car cranking and not starting and not necessarily a cause.

It's probably a good idea to clear the fault codes (take and save screen shots of them first) and then try starting the car a few times, after it has failed to start read the fault codes again, then you know that all the codes you see are currently occurring faults...

As said above, no I had Not John, Sorry... I had been too full with my own HDi issues.

As above, I think you need to sort the Air Flow meter first to clear that fault first.

yep will try and start her tomorrow and record the results,, did hear about the plugs etc not being an issue on Hdi unless it is lower than -50C

Heater Plug cuircuit is NOT an issue at the moment. A HDi 8v will still start after 5 turns without them working..

John, you need to go back into the diagnostic, and goto the "Injection" part and goto the Parameter Measurements, then if you can take a video of "Injection Info" while cranking the engine over...

We need to see what the "Measured Fuel Pressure" is dooing, in comparison to the Fuel Pressure Reference ...

assuming the HP fuel pump is not putting out nearly enough pressure.., why has the car been running really well once started? its not starting at all now but.,,

Going to wreckers, for maybe a pump, and whatever else I can find,,

will check this post again when I am there, in case I need to get something else from the yard.
