Re: lexia 3
I received the set and installed the softvare. I can use it, but I have a question. I want to install an additional anti-theft alarm system. This is a can bus and C5 compatible system. I have no genuine alarm system, so I should add the alarm system option with diag to the C5. I already found this option, but when I want to do, the diagbox require a user name and password. How can I get an account for this action?

Re: lexia 3
You can't, that's for the PSA servers for authorised accounts only.
Your C5 already has an immobiliser and alarm system, so what are you trying to do? Trying to put another system in will only cause problems with the current system. Diagbox isn't for adding third party accessories.

There is no alarm system in my car. It was only an option. But possible to retrofit it. This is an option in diagbox.

Re: lexia 3
What's your VIN?, even the basic C5 MKI had an alarm!

Re: lexia 3
Mine doesn't Marc and neither did the previous one.
Both SXs. Immobiliser but no alarm.

Re: lexia 3
Ok, immobiliser Steve - no alarm, I stand corrected - but unless Hungary have different specifications, the 2009 C5 VTR UK models have anti-theft alarm (volumetric and perimetric) fitted as standard on the X7 (I'm looking at the 2008 / 2009 brochures now), which I think the OP has according to his profile, which is why I find it odd that he is trying to fit another one...?

Re: lexia 3
Alarm and deadlocks seem to be standard UK fitting, but rarely fitted options for the rest of the world. My XM Exclusive (French spec) has neither, and our 308 (NZ spec) does not have an alarm, but the equivalent U models would have had them as standard.

Re: lexia 3
So I have no alarm system
If I want to add (or allow, I do not know the correct English phrase) in BSI, do I must go to a Citroen service? Cannot do myself?

Maybe the higher models have an alarm fitted as it is mentioned in the handbook.

I"s like to know what components your car has already, so can you post of PM your VIN number so I can look it up. This will tell me what is there already.

Re: lexia 3
All I can say is that Hungary must have very low car crime or some weird rules if they don't allow alarms as standard kit!
Anyway, back to the issue, now that I have all the data for your car. It seems that you should have the following parts according to the specs, but in case not here are the parts:
(50) Plate Screw - Part 6680 G6
(70) Rivet - Part 6973 05
(71) Hog Ring - Part 6991 V0
(72) Hog Ring- Part 6990 A7
(75) Nut with Base - Part 6936 C9
So you will need the wiring components, siren and control modules:
(1) Control Module - Part 6680 V1
(2) Anti Theft Alarm Sensor - Part 6680 S4
(3) Siren Bracket Anti Theft Alarm - Part 6680 R7
(4) Anti Theft Alarm Siren - Either Part 6680 S5 (or the replacement Part 6680 W7)
(8) Contact Switch - Part 6366 93
(9) Contactor Bracket - Part 6680 S6
(10) Buffer - Part 8711 50
The coding option within Lexia is designed for this Alarm system only and when the above components have been fitted, then you would enable the option within the BSI - or get the dealer to do it for you. Don't change any settings using the Lexia for any other Alarm system, otherwise you may find you can't start the car.

Re: lexia 3
Thanks for answer. I know the original alarm system, but I do not want to use it, because the thieves also know it. I found a CAN kompatible system. This unit programmable, concretely for Citroen C5 x7, and can use the car CAN signs. But this unit can connect properly to C5 system if the original alarm system is coded within BSI. That is why I want to coding it.
