Does anyone know why the first listed rear anti roll ram up to RP 6778
part number 529003 is substantially cheaper at £210.09 than the other
part number 509004 which comes in at £354.82!!? :?

Maybe the earlier one is being run out, and thus subject to a different pricing regimen than a service part.

No, but I'm looking at a receipt for 509004 (from Citroen Manchester) for £267.83 (including VAT). However, it is marked with a Z which means that it has "Not necessarily been sourced from Citroen". We need to find out who else has them!

Thinking about it, maybe the increase is due to the change in the Euro rate... Not good for us French car fans. :(

How old is that invoice James, seems the prices of the parts is rapidly
inflating: it's possible the price adjustment for spares is due to our £
being worth bugger all and CitroenUK has compensated! :(

How on earth can the bush be such a silly price when you consider the
price of a new ram with an inclusive bush isn't significantly more money;
I realise logic and Citroen don't always see eye to eye but that is just rude;
I'd love to know what the price in euros is in the home Market; €20?

That was from January 2008, when Thomas owned the car.

Just checked a couple of other parts. The right enging mount looks a bit dearer, and the roll corrector rods are each £2 dearer!

If anybody is willing to send me a duff front and rear ram, I will try and source a replacement. All mine are working and bolted onto a car! I have already had a discussion with a hydraulic systems supplier, who reckons he can replicate or overhaul old ones.

My mole in Citroen thinks they are sourced from a German manufacturer, with a plant in Belgium. I am waiting for him to come up with proof positive and will be over in France to see him soon as he has some more parts for my V6 Activa conversion.
