When I went looking around for a new car previously with getting an Xantia in mind, I came across my Activa.
So with the high spec, good condition and that as I looked around it I realised it was a specific model of Xantia, that I had read about in the motoring press some years previously, and had made a note about it's abilities at the time.
Therefore although there were other cars available I did not want to pass this opportunity up, and decided I had to have it.
It's a great car a real wolf in sheeps clothing, and well worth owning if you get the chance to get hold off one go for it!
Who's got an Activa??

The cambelt is due for a change at that mileage really, it might be able to go another 10k but then,,,, Changing the cambelt on an Activa is a straighforward task and easier then other engines in Xantia's.
Yes the seats will fit.

I put a few comments on doing the cambelt on page three of this thread. As Richard says, it is one of the easier ones to do as long as you take note of the timing hole issue and not to tension it too tightly. The size of the belt may stagger you. It is tiny and in fact the same one as used on the smallest of the XU engines. Its size alone makes you want to swap it regularlysuperloopy1 wrote: Anyone able to answer cambelt question?

point about the clutch I mentioned in the last post!!
