I thought that we never got the S16 with anything other than 155bhp and 5 speeds over here, I was fairly sure that when the 306 GTI-6 was introduced the differences were the 167bhp and 6 speed gearbox. I could be wrong about this though, you have to remember that the ZX got the 167bhp engine for an extremely limited period, 167 bhp 6 speed S-16s could be as rare (or more rare) than the 167bhp ZXs.
