Several of my Israeli friends eat bacon and will even have creamy sauces on their meat.
A few years back I did a last minute Xmas dinner for 9 people, 4 of which were Israeli, one of them only ate Kosher, so I had to make sure the gammon didn't come into contact with anything else, and carved it last.

It's true. Linux gives you a kit of parts for you to assemble yourself how you choose and see fit to best meet your needs and not how Mr. Gates or Mr. Jobs decides it should be for you.

Linux = freedom Windows and Mac = Dictatorship

Power to the Penguin. He was about long before Windows (in the guise of Unix) and will be still going strong long after the last Windows OS has seen its last Service Pack and the last iThing has blinged itself out of existence...

That's a very good article Steve and it shows the man is a true engineer. Keen to get a good solid working product and to hell with lofty visions and all the other corporate rubbish... Excellent... My sort of person...

Never knew there were books about him... Be interesting but as you say. Time is the enemy. Must look and see if they are on Kindle...

"Just For Fun" is his autobiography.
He seems very down to earth and has no ambition to rule the world.
Admits quite frequently that he can be an arsehole if provoked.
