I don't know, I'll have to ask her. Mind you, unless you have a canal up in your neck of the woods, probably not, as she enjoys living in her narrow boat, even in the winter.

As a narrow boat is flat bottomed, and only has ballast bricks (or equivalent; Mum uses her library of books) to keep it level, you don't want to take them for a sea journey unless you want a submarine.

Yes any flat bottom boat is hopeless in open seas. The ferry from Aberdeen to the Shetland has a flat bottom and it rolls more than my 60 foot fishing boat did. The last time I was on it I could not keep my feet and it was a nice day!

I'm down in Somerset at the moment. Journeyed down in the V6 in a most peasant manner...

Thwe V6 (and the Activa) really shows up a terrible shortcoming the C1 has....

It has a the most terrible heater.

It's OK when it gets going but it takes so long. Whereas the Activa and V6 are producing headt by the end of my road I'm almost at work by the time the C1 heater is getting going...

Ahh well, the price one has to pay of having a little and very effcicient engine I suppose...

It might be wonderful James but have you seen the size of C1 seats? One of those covers will do both seats  I went on a diet specifically so that I could fit the C1 seat
