I will be confirming numbers for next Tuesday's lunch on Thursday so I'd appreciate it if all those, who have indicated above that they can make it, would confirm by Thursday so I can book the appropriate table with Martin the publican. It is important to get it right as he invariably has to move furniture around to meet his bookings and cannot afford to have places booked and then not filled on the day. Thanks

I think the Crown and Sceptre can be just about considered 'local' so I can legitimately get away with driving there
