On the locomotive naming front following on from "Brian" and "Concrete Bob" referred to above, which are "Official" names, new to me I discovered that many locomotives allocated to Tinsley TMD near Sheffield received "unofficial names" distinctively painted on the locos.

Where does the name come from....maybe an homage to the evocative Official LNER Deltic names based on racehorses Alycidon, Crepello, Pinza, Meld, Tulyar, Ballymoss, St Paddy, Nimbus.
Galtee More was indeed a champion Racehorse winning the "Triple Crown" of the 2,000 Guineas, the Derby, and the St Leger in 1897, named in turn after the Irish Mountain of the same name
