Forever I think, unless the rules have changed.

BTW Sticky, did you know that you can change the title of a forum thread (if you started it) by just editing the title when you make a new post?

Forever... otherwise no one would go to the trouble of MOTing a car just to get the plate off it would they? :)

And hope, after rebuilding a car for the plate, I suspect...

I think I'm going to get rid of M666 JLD on the C4. It's too easily remembered on case I p**s someone off on the road..

To be honest Mike, wearing a very distinctive plate I believe makes you a better driver as you're less likely to do anything silly as any observers are sure to recall such a distinctive one...

I know I'm always conscious of how instantly recognisable my Activa is...

My issue with that is that although I don't do anything silly, others have a different view of "silly". It's like the old biddies you see in the local paper complaining about "speeding" and that "cars come down here at 70mph far too regularly"... unless they've got radar built into their heads, they've no idea how fast the cars are going..

I regularly get flashed and gesticualted at on one road around here for simply overtaking people where it's safe to do so. I'm not pottering along at 30-35 in a 60 zone on a long straight road when it's clear , yet they feel it's their right to beep at me or whatever if I dare to overtake them..

Take 2: Go to the first post in the thread, hit the edit button and change the title there...
