This is the best place to find Diagbox downloads, patches and drivers.

....check your windows device manager and make sure an ACTIA usb device appears when you connect your interface.

...many Chinese clone interfaces can't run version of Diagbox later than 5.29.

Thanks for your advice. i will have a look at that site and try again when I get time (just about to start refurbishing kitchen!).

I do check the Devices window as sometimes the interface is not recognised; however it was recognised when I got the results mentioned. Will separate the Cable and reconnect though.

The interface cable came with the Diagbox 6.01 from Easydiagnostics so should be sound. I may try it on my wife's C3 & see what happens. -will report back.

Blimey, do you guys live on planet earth, this stuff is all over my head I am afraid, used to using macs, and it either works or it doesn't lol.
I have an Asus 64 bit machine, and no way will Diagbox work on it as far as I can do it anyway. We have it running on my old XP laptop, but it is painfully slow.
I can't even find the disc now, so can someone please tell me how or who I can pay to get Diagbox working on this laptop that I purchased just for the purpose( mistakenly it seems). I was hoping for a super fast machine as it has an I 8 processor which I believe is fast

For those that haven't noticed yet, it looks like a major new revision of Diagbox is out, 7.xx with the current version being 7.06:

It's not an incremental update but requires complete un-installation of the old version of Diagbox before installation.

As I'm in the middle of rebuilding my Lexia machine due to a faulty hard drive I'll volunteer to be the guinea pig and try installing it. Will report back probably tomorrow-ish with the results...

I've already installed it Simon as part of my "trying to get the graphs working in Lexia".... have 7.04 running, it works fine However I do not believe the Lexia version included is any different to the one included in 6.30 (I get the same version number in the status bar).

EDIT: the graph issue btw was an IE issue, found that out when I tried to activate XP after it had nagged me about it for 30 days.

What was preventing your graphs working ? Try as I might I can't find any graphing functionality in the Lexia software when connected to my Xantia, so I'm not sure whether its just that my engine ECU is too old to support graphing (although it would seem to me to be a feature of the Lexia software not the ECU...) or whether there is something wrong with my installation...

I figured as much that there wouldn't be any updates to Lexia (although there were a few minor version updates through the run of 6.xx) but as I may be helping out other forum members from time to time I like to keep it relatively current...and I'm a sucker for new versions of anything.

I was getting a crash of winlex.exe straight after doing the recording for the graph, it turned out the IE install of the VM was royally screwed (wouldn't even open), installed IE8 (via WU) and it then started working again.

Are you looking in the right place for the graphing stuff, it's not really obvious.... and I believe you cannot do it using the "Standard Measurements" option, you need to go "Personalised Measurements" (the option after Standard anyway), then select the ones you want, and either on that screen or the one afterwards, there's a button down the bottom with a graph on it (F8 I believe). After that it'll give you options for starting and stopping the recording... once stopped it'll open up the graphs.

Well I can confirm that Diagbox 7.06 works fine for me. I still get the partialtrace.exe error during launch but it doesn't seem to cause any trouble.

That was by far the quickest and easiest installation of Diagbox I've ever done.

I also managed to get DocBackup/Sedre working properly this time - it seems that installing those before Diagbox is a good idea...

Looks like graphing just isn't possible on the Xantia (at least not with a Lexia) there is no "Standard Measurements" or "Personalised measurements" option under the engine ECU, only "parameters measurements".

I had the Partialtrace.exe error once, have you applied all windows updates to XP? I'm not sure on the order of things, as I just dismissed it as thinking it would come up everytime, but to my surprise, it hasn't came up since.

Good job on getting DocBackup and Sedre working, they're a painful process, but have found DocBackup worthwhile, Sedre not so much (my wiring diagram knowledge is minuscule).

As for the parameter measurements thing, take a look here (it's in French, but you can get the gist):

The first screen shown, is the Parameter Measurements one, and then the next screen they go into Standard Measurements, and you can see the 2nd option is for Personalised ones. Do you not get this 2nd screen?

After installing 7.02 Diagbox was launching with no partialtrace.exe error, however I didn't have the interface plugged in at the time. I thought great, they've fixed that bug, but no, after updating it to 7.06 the error was back again... Yes Windows XP has all windows updates applied and is otherwise a pretty clean install of Windows dedicated to Diagbox and now DocBackup/Sedre.

It was only Sedre that wouldn't install last time, I think your advice to kill psagent.exe before installing was probably correct - although I skirted around the issue by installing before Diagbox was installed, thus there was no psagent installed...

No I don't see that second screen, Parameters measurement then goes directly to (from memory) Injection, Ignition, Sensors and Driving information. I'll take a couple of screen shots next time I have it running as I don't think I can get to those screens without a car connected.

Have no single idea about what a BAshe 5 is. Even hearing this word first time. But i hope it might be a technical system for downloading and communicating about something. As it said the communication error, or it could also be a voice commanding system. Who knows, but better take your car to some care facility and talk to them about it. Would be helpful. Good luck finding the answer though

The best supplier is scarymistake.
whit his interface whil it work whit diagbox V07.10 and its a valid code of the PSA group.

Looks like the auto-professionals website had a clean out of inactive accounts (mine was deleted) and threads cannot be viewed unless you're logged in, however new registrations are also disabled at the moment!

Fortunately I re-registered the day before new registrations were disabled. I've followed the installation instructions to no avail, it doesn't let me through the activation with customer codes 1234567 or scary01.

I have a feeling the crack patch isn't working?

Grr poxy bootleg software. Oh well
