#1 is a Hellerman sleeving tool (sometimes known as the "honeymoon tool"!),
#2 looks like wire strippers,
#5 is a nut splitter,
#9 is a plumb line.

I'll bag this although the hub socket could also apply but...possibly...looks like a ball joint removal socket for those French things with unremovable ball joints!

I just recently sold my version of number one, a grommet stretcher for wiring etc.
I've got a number four in my toolbox, for taking off those damned tight bottom ball joints

No 3 looks like a specialised insulation stripper and the name stamped on it is 'Urmet', Urmet make those door entry kits that you let your visitors in with when you've confirmed who they are.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
There was another reason Richard Noble chose the name Bloodhound; one of the people who helped with Thrust SSC (and is involved with Bloodhound SSC) is a gentleman called Ron Ayers. Ron had been head of Operational Research at the British Aircraft Corporation (Guided Weapons Division) in Bristol, and was the chief aerodynamicist on the Bloodhound 2 anti-aircraft missile. (Information gleaned from Richard Nobles' book "Thrust").mickthemaverick wrote: 27 Sep 2019, 20:31 A superbly engineered missile, its name was borrowed by Richard Noble for the current World Land Speed record car which is destined to eventually reach 1000mph in South Africa having first set a new record in the region of 800mph. The project ran into financial difficulties after the test runs at Newquay and was bought out by a Yorkshire businessman and is now back on course. I am a founder member of the supporters club and have been involved since 2006. I won't put any pics here but if you are interested you can now find all the details at www.bloodhoundlsr.com. Plenty of good stuff on there especially Andy Green's contributions. If you are not aware Andy holds the current record from Thrust SSC and the entire Bloodhound car has been designed and built to fit and suit him.

One of the mist incredible (to my mind, at least) was the visible shockwave as Thrust SSC went supersonic;

Quite correct James but that is actually the same reason, I just didn't expand on it to try and avoid waffling on about our current project as I am prone to do!!Hell Razor5543 wrote: 28 Sep 2019, 18:29There was another reason Richard Noble chose the name Bloodhound; one of the people who helped with Thrust SSC (and is involved with Bloodhound SSC) is a gentleman called Ron Ayers.
