I've been awake all night. That's what happens when I am doing a midnight to 8am on a helpline and have to stay awake for the phone. I haven't looked at Gabbys fuel leak yet, but I have a set of injector seals, leak off pipes and fuel pump seals so have everything I need to sort it. It's probably going into the space where Shauns blackbug is once it gets going, where it will get the leak sorted and possibly perpared and painted if I can get his space long enough. I have also decided that big pug is going to get towed to a garage to see if I can get it going, then cleaned up and sold. However her MOT is in May so if it gets going it will need a test too. Lilpug also needs a good clean, it will soon be time for it to start attending local events. I was surprised that she did 6000 miles in the year I have owned it! I certainly did not think I had done that many miles in it, but then I do so many miles with visiting family and shopping and going to my meetings it mounts up. This is the use that Gabby is now doing, lilpug not moved for a month, big pug only done 2000 miles in the year, and whitebug covering the work miles which is about 200 to 250 a week. I am keeping accurate fuel records for it, it has returned 44.6 mpg for the entire mileage since I got it, about 2400 miles in 9 weeks. Some of the lads on the c1OC claim to get 75 or 80 mpg from them. I have one word for that - BOLLOCKS!!! My usage is mostly around town, but my original one which got a 45 mile commute, then 45 mile home never over 55 mph and all gentle country roads averaged 55 mpg over thousands and thousands of miles, so I suppose 44.6 isn't bad for the use mine gets now. By the same thing some of the lads on the c1OC claim they are faster than every BMW and Audi on the motorways! Well that's easy if said BMW and Audi cars are keeping to speed limits
