My experience of green cars, especially the light greens has been that they were quite difficult to sell............"Oh I couldn't buy a green car it's bad luck."

My mother in law would never ride in a green car.
I vividly recall her saying, when my father in law went to buy a new car that "it had better not be green or I'm not getting in to it".

I have never owned a green car of any shade... Having said that. I do like the very dark greens some Xantias were available in.. .And the Sorrento Green - almost black - seen on the Pug 205 GTi

One of my motor trade friends had a pale green Vauxhall Chevette Estate sitting for a long time, he asked if he could put it on my patch to try, it sat for fourteen months before a guy desperate for transport bought it............and was delighted with it. :)

My Jaguar XJ40 was Brooklands Green (similar to British Racing Green we all know) with a tan leather interior and I think that works very well!! :-D

Time to correct a major internet worldwide shortage.

There is only one picture on the entire internet of a late 70's Lancia Beta Coupe in Verde Finlandia so I have photographed my photographs of which there appear to be only two!

Image

The interior was just a touch garish, very probably tasteless, but interesting :-D

Luckily Tony Harrison on flickr has preserved a photo of it for future generations to enjoy

Having introduced the green Rover it would be silly to miss out on the older darker version, not my cup of tea at all this one! :-D

I think it works well. A pink Chelsea Tractor looks a lot nicer than their usual drab :)
