Nice hubcaps/trims seem far and away the best surviving bit. Plenty more rusty examples in this gallery here should you wish to play wonder what that rusty wreck is https://sometimes-interesting.com/willo ... ron-oxide/

Quality hub caps at least! Yes you have probably hit the nail on the head there Steve....you may or may not be familiar with the garage. Near Darlington Willow Bridge Service Station, haven't been past it before or since but got a mention this morning on the May 2023 Quickfire A to Z of Anything Everything, on Q-Day. It used to be a Q8 filling station.

Not on my rout Neil. The hubcaps are from a GS Pallas. I had a lowly 1222 Club, but it had the Pallas hubcaps.

Not so much to go on, but there is enough here to track it down reasonably precisely

A Wolseley 1500 a bit of an over inflated Morris 1000 mechanically.......a nice car in its day.

PS. That grill's probably worth a few bob Neil, if they don't need it for a car they use them as decor.

That's what I concluded too, after a brief Hornet dalliance. With it not having the orange indicators and having a colour like this one, I thought it would be a Mark II.

There is actually one parked at the roadside in the village I had my garage business in Neil, I'll try to remember to photo it next time I pass through.

Re: Whatsthisthen?
Going to have to refer this Wheresthisthen
here.
With the probably incorrect assumption from me that it would most likely be in Sussex the surprisingly few clues in the pictures have drawn a blank so far.
The two bits I focussed on was the layout of the railway station, which is an Island Platform with two tracks on each side, and a very sketchy church steeple. The nearest match was Lewes with its St Annes Church and a similar track layout but not the same. Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill also got a consider.
Of course it may not be Sussex at all, making it a bit more needle in a haystack-ey.
Throwing it open

Note for Neil - you'll get some points if you can work out which town they're taken from![]()

It's a neighbouring county to Sussex.
It's an unusual station in that it serves both the national rail service and a preserved line.
And a sketchy third extra clue - Michael Portillo has been on the preserved line.... but Michael Portillo's been everywhere
