Jim,

This is horrendously expensive for what it is, but it is however cheaper then a new centre section from Citroen...

And that's with 12.5% Discount too David

Shame is, that's not the bit where it's gone. It's gone right on the spigot on the transverse box - the bit the Y section connects to

Mind you. the Y section is looking a bit rough...

Initially I'm going to try the suggestions made over on Club-XM for a temporary fix but what worries me is if that spigot fails completely what will happen to the centre section. I'm worried it might fall onto the road and cause much more damage...

Just cooked a fantastic butternut squash and mushroom curry... Seems an odd combination but it works..

My very own recipe...

The chilli I used was a bit of a perky little fellow though so it's a little hotter than expected

A little valuable tip. If you find you need a pee after preparing a chilli please wash your hands thoroughly first. If you don't it hurts like hell

Why not try that stuff that turns rust back into good metal Jim and see if it helps? To be honest it's sounding more and more like an bespoke stainless system is the way to go.

They do say that in most houses the toilet seat has less germs than the kitchen does, especially the chopping boards and washing up cloth...

Not that I'm going to start doing food preparation in the bathroom any time soon. I use lots of bleach in my kitchen.

So yes, what your Doctor says may be right... All I know is Chilli down there really hurts

Right, back on topic

My b****y Activa

Now showing distinct signs of a failing wheel bearing and intermittent cooling fans...

I noted the coolant temperature at 100 degrees this afternoon when static for a bit and when I arrived home I found the fans not running.

Prodding one with a stick got them going and now they seem OK...

But not for long I guess... That car has already had one replacement fan but I can't recall which now..

Keeps me busy does that car

Good news is it goes in on Wednesday to have its lacquer peel sorted...

I hope it's a rear wheel bearing. I don't know who it was, but somebody I knew used to write the date of replacement on any major part he changed.

you need to keep a log like what i got for my XM jim. EVERYTHING is on a few pages of notepad paper with exact mileages for replacement :)

Would the fans from the V6 do at all as im sure they were taken in the stash from the one i broke?
