Replaced the rubber guides of the brake caliper (just in case the ones originally being assemble on the new one came defective somehow) and issue continues. If the new wire is put, wheel becomes a bit stuck. Running out of options...
I'm now wanting to purge the ABS circuit just to replace any older dot 4 that may be there. If i understand the process , i pressurize the circuit with the bleeder pump , and then with lexia i purge ABS , at the same time i will open the bleeders at each wheel (one at the time) being rear right, rear left , front right , front left. Am i correct or im missing something?
Probably will not help in my issue , but i imagine that this is something that should be done when changing the brake fluid , right?

Re: Citroen C5 X7 rear brakes sticking
Hello, I'm facing the same issue.
I changed a leaking rear left caliper with a new one and put new pads on, as soon as I put the spring on the caliper it goes a bit to the side and the disk becomes stuck.
After noticing the sticking I replaced the rubber slides and then spring from the old caliper to the new one, it helped a little but it's still getting hot after driving.
I'm thinking of rebuilding the old caliper and putting it back on, but I would rather keep the new one if possible.
Have you solved your problem.
