You are not alone Steve, not a single photo from South of the Tyne and precious few reports without pics so far in 74 spotting season.

Been out and about this week - down to Kendal on Monday, and up in Aviemore Tues - Thurs. Really saw very few 74s on the road - did pass a couple of transporters with a few on board on the M6/74, otherwise pretty sparse! I did capture this one however yesterday whilst out on my bike:

I thought it was a DS as I passed, and the MOT site confirms this: DS 7 PERFORMANCE LN+ BHDI SS A I've no idea what all those letters mean though!

Still not a single contribution to the Gallery fron South of the Tyne, and September is nearly done. Hard to believe if anyone is actually playing along. Not too late for new players to join in 8 days to go before the thread naturally expires. "Go out and see what you can find" as Mungo Jerry would have put it. Be inspired by Richard's latest spot! :-D

It seems they are rare down my part of the world, still only the one spotted when I had no camera!! :)

I don't get the chance to see many on my daily commute down the country lanes, and they were even harder to come by on my day off on the Waverley the other week

BHDI - Blue Hdi
SS - Stop & Start

That thing is grotesque

Only spotted one generic SUV around here on a 74 plate and all along my New Forest ride yesterday I saw none at all but then again, I had some rather lovely scenery to fest my eyes upon and happy memories to enjoy :D

Another one for the Falcon, but one in "the too rude to ask permission, or photograph category"
A very unsatisfactory "Suzuki Somethingorother". Owner in situ, with window down, nearside next to a steep bank, and pretty much any sort of angle for a photograph in the owner's direct view.

Heading south on the M40 this lunchtime I spotted a black Tesla Model X 74 Reg between J7 and J6. Later I spotted another black Model X 74 Reg (it may have been the same one, but only if they had been SERIOUSLY speeding) in Watlington.

BHDI - Blue Hdi
SS - Stop & Start
I think also
LN+ - Line Plus
And A - Automatic.

Seemingly it is a 1.5 Diesel, but weighs in at over 2 tonne, performance a little sedate?

Saw several today, including a Toyota Proace (the Berlingo / Partner / Combi clone), a Renault traffic (or perhaps a Vivaro version), a Toyota (Aygo X possibly), an MG 4 EV X Power (I presume it had blingy orange brakes and comes with 435 BHP apparently!). Managed to get a pic of this one:
IMG_20240926_132313226_HDR.jpg
Which is an Ioniq 5N - which boasts a ludicrous 650BHP and I think is the one with the daft engine noise / pretend gear change mode

Not a sausage. Thought the trip to Alnwick yesterday would throw up a few but as usual, nothing.
