Go for the biggest AH that will fit in your battery tray. I used to have a truck battery in my astra estate. AH will not damage your car

AH is pulling power, volts is completely different. The bigger the AH the better in a car. You might have a battery drill at home, 18v but what is the AH? 4/5? AH has major impact on battery life and use

Re: "Battery charge or electrical supply faulty" - air conditioner problem?
I can find only 80Ah 760A on my market or 60Ah 450A so maybe i'll get advised tomorrow after alternator test. Thanks again!
But as a noob i go to brands and if you browse the Varta website on their battery finder you will get 2 options for my car:
1. Blue Dynamic 560 408 054 - 60Ah 540A
2. Silver Dynamic 563 400 061 - 63Ah 610A
Also when i talked for a battery with 2 mobile battery changing service in my area i got this:
1. Rombat Cyclon 62 Ah 510 A
2. MACHT 75AH 680A or Varta 74AH 680A

Many thanks for answering my "question". Tomorrow i'll take apart the battery fuse and the plastic cover an see for myself what battery is installed on my car and year of manufacture.
Drive safe!

Just make sure you don't go below the recommended 720 70A. Do not get anything less than this.

Re: "Battery charge or electrical supply faulty" - air conditioner problem?
Today i went to check alternator and battery. The alternator was tested with a professional tool connected, and all tests were good, with and without the error on the dashboard.
Also the battery was tested with a battery tester and passed all checkmarks.
He ran a generic diagnose, Autel if i'm not mistaking, and no error code, with or without error on the dashboard.
The guy at the service advised me to go at a dedicated electrical service to check wiring.
I talked to a Citroen dealer, because is my last chance to find out about the error, and i can go in a week or so. Hope for an answer and diagnose the problem.
Many thanks for your support. I'll keep the post updated.

You may have a poor electrical harness between the alternator / battery or it could be the Engine Fuse box.

Re: "Battery charge or electrical supply faulty" - air conditioner problem?
That's what the service guy told me "maybe you hava a cable problem" but he had lots of customers and told me that a specialised electrician should check them.GiveMeABreak wrote: 01 Jun 2023, 12:37 You may have a poor electrical harness between the alternator / battery or it could be the Engine Fuse box.
About the battery fuse box, read and heard many things. But is somehow strange that only a battery charge error pops. I read and googled forums, websites, youtube and many had serious problems with engine, gearbox, power steering etc. But none battery fault.
Hope for the best and drive safe.
