Re: Gyrometer / Accelerometer sensor
In this case you may have to get it done at a dealer as this error is down to not having a dealer login to telecode. Some ECUs like ESP systems may be locked down on some vehicles. If may be also because it didn't recognise the ESP module to start with so refuses to telecode it and that may be why it is trying to go online. When you cancel, it will fail with this message.
Please note, I'm no longer active on the Forum, so won't respond to messages.

Re: Gyrometer / Accelerometer sensor
Update:
I tried many versions of Diagbox back from previous to 7.57 too. All gave the same thing on this ESP9 module, original and spares.
I did try to see if it would let me telecode any ECU's and it seemed perfectly happy to let me fiddle with the Engine ECU (dangerous I know, but i just swapped over Speed Limiter and proved it had been saved and then changed it back) So it seems to only be the ESP9 modules that behave like that.
Out of curiosity i tried it on some of my cars with ESP81 modules and they telecode fine with my kit. That then made me think (naively) that i may get away with connecting the ESP9 module to one of my other cars and telecoding it there - nope - ESP81 and ESP9 keyways and sizes of powers and grounds are different - bang went that idea! The ESP81 has a kind of staggered keyway separating the power/grounds from the data pins, whereas the ESP9 (both Bosch) keyways are symmetrical.
Not quite giving up yet (aka taking to dealer) Just having a pause to think for a few weeks and see if some eureka moment hits me.

Re: Gyrometer / Accelerometer sensor
Hi! Did you manage to solve this issue? I'm having a similar issue with the steering wheel angle sensor and Yaw/acceleration values. Basically all of them are wrong. I've replaced already the Yaw/accelerometer sensor, but nothing changed (I dind't yet with the angle sensor). My problem is that I am almost sure that this is affecting mi mcp gearbox behaviour...kingjafad wrote: 25 Feb 2023, 13:58 Update:

Re: Gyrometer / Accelerometer sensor
I did fix it. The C4 Picasso B78 2013 doesnt have a separate steering wheel angle sensor so that was a red herring. Car was fixed with 2 new rear discs and pads.ramirofiso wrote: Hi! Reading back through the posts, several people did suspect that and I naively thought i didnt have that problem as they looked good and even had a 'run out' meter check them and it was barely noticeable. The guy whom helped me with the run-out check even thought there was nothing wrong with the discs. However, it seems they had actually warped at some point (although the problem seemed to come on relatively quickly at the start). When i changed the discs, I deliberately didnt make any other changes and sure enough, problem vanished.
The Steering angle sensor still shows the same thing but ABS is working fine (wife had to test it in anger during winter weather)
