Nothing has been moved, it just failed to come on one day and there is voltage on F8 just not on the output for the radio. I think I am going to have to cut my losses and install another radio and satnav separately

Thanks to your connecting plug diagram I know which leads go where. The yellow permanently live lead is so I can connect it to that which means I can use it with the ignition off 8-) The only problem I can see is the different aerial plug, do they make an adaptor or do I have to fit a different plug?

I have come to the conclusion that this problem is almost insurmountable from what I have read but at least the car drives OK, even the aircon works! Thanks very much for all your help - hope I don't have to bother you again.

I've provided you with the rear diagram and aerial designations along with the pin outs a few post back, so it all depends on what unit you are attempting to fit, but you should have all you need.

Yes got those Marc, very useful, its just that I haven't seen that sort of connector before, will have a look on Ebay.
