I had a couple of S2 Xantias, and some of the holes are for equipment that may not have been fitted (optional extras, higher spec car stuff, and so on).

XM and BX the same: where eqt is not fitted, the lampholder position is left empty.
A torch will reveal what these phantom locations are for.

So mine is missing one that looks like washer bottle level, water in diesel and petrol flap?

And I think the others are blind?
