There is probably a leak as I had to top up with 100ml to get the coolant level to max again. Will check again in a couple of days as it could just be redistribution of the coolant after a short drive yesterday.

After any coolant change, or work on the system, it's not unusual for a bit of topping up to be needed. A small bit of trapped air might well have worked its way out. 100ml is a not a large quantity.
