Yes i also checked the video few times to see how it disengage. That is the reason he removed headlig h to remove that plug otherwise there is no space to remove. It's same connector as fuse box. I wil give another go and if not will decide to cut the cable and solder it when reinstalling.

I managed to disambled motor without removing plug. There wwas some oil at the bottom, but there was nothing burned inside. So cleaned the motor and put it back everything to see if it fire up. Initially it was weird sound but it was power steering sound which disappear after fluid flew throgh the system. Did suspension up down but no change. I didn't prime the pump as don't have any tool. Wanted to check if the motor start working but didn't work. It was messy job but good learning curve. If the plug was not stuck I will replaced the motor. If I have to cut the cable and solder it new motor, it won't be reliable.

The pump looks very clean indeed!

When did you last check the Maxi fuse? I suggest you check again - not visually, but test with a multimeter and look at the contacts that hold the fuse in - these can get covered in crusty deposits or become loose making a bad contact with the fuse. Always worth checking this again as your pump looks like new.

I did checked maxi fuse visually after fitting the pump. I also checked with multimeter first time and it didn't show any issue. I am suspecting the connector might have burned from inside and that's why it stuck. I will check maxi fuse again with multimeter.

Checked the fuse again and there nothing wrong.
So its probably motor. I took close look of my motor and the one posted on one of the thread and it looks like the copper wires is melted or not in proper shape.

I also checked numbers on ECU and they both same however mine is v6 and other one is hdi or 3 cylinder.

I found that the easiest way to eliminate the possibility that it's the fuse is to check the heavy positive power cable at the motor, no need to strip anything, push a needle through the insulation and measure the voltage there.

If you have 12v positive at the motor you can check the exciter by running 12v to the connector (the thin third wire) the motor should run.

That ia a good idea.
Can you please tell exactly how can i test it i mean where to connect postive and negative cables and how to check voltage using needle. Sorry i am not familiar with electrionics stuff.
Thanks

The connector is melted and caused the smoke. I am going to buy pump with connector so i can cur the cable and solder to new connector. Is it safe to solder connector withoit compromosong funtion of the pump. What are the other option to join the cable.

If the melted connector is the only thing wrong with your pump, you have nothing to lose by just bypassing it and soldering wires directly to the pump, with an external connector.

Finally i was able to seperate cable from the motor. Checked the motor by connecting 12v supply and it perfectly fine. The connector housing is completely damaged and can't locate positive connection. Can i bypass connector and comnect both cable directly to the motor. If i do this where should i connect exiter cable.

I have ordered the pump so hopefully will be installed next week.
I am going to use same lds that i empty and see car rise to normal height. Once everything is ok and i will then empty lds and replace with new fluid
Is there any issue in using used fluid again. When i empty lds i care fully empty in a 4 ltr bottle and sealed it.
