backlights, flashes are OFF, stoplights work.HELP!

Ok, I don't know what diagnostic tool your mechanic is using a Lexia will provide a lot more information any any faults that are there. A lot of us have Lexia clones here but the main dealer systems are additionally also linked to the fault diagnostic procedures that provide some further tests to help determine or eliminate certain things. Might be worth booking a diagnostic session there.

OK i got the car back.
He fixed almost everything.
dimlights, flashes, trail lights now work!
The only thing that isn't working is the flashing when you remotely lock and unlock the car. Everything else works.
There exists a little language barrier, he tried to explain that ''a line was weak and he fixed that''. He said when i later called him about the locking thing that he knew that and that he cannot fix that unless we change BSI, key etc...
His aid who picked me up said something like it was difficult to convince the computer that it was ok, or something along those lines. The language barrier there was huge though...
No big deal really but i am really interested to yank the bsi out and check out exactly what he did...
