I 'like' the majority of posts i read on the forum, and i read them all. A dislike button would be the only useful addition to the forum if that.

Does anyone really need to know when a post of his/hers is 'like'd by anyone and if so can i ask WHY other than for self gratification.

I, for one, do not 'LIKE' it. It looks and feels 'kid-ish' and unless we are about to launch a recruitment drive to attract the next generation of just out of short trouser schoolkids can see no use for it at all here. It's the FB and twitterati crowd who 'like' to 'like' just because they have a button and can ...

For all of your ranting, I see that you really like the new feature, as you have not disabled it on your profile. :rofl2:

Took a while to find the kill switch - but Ditto, gone into 'like oblivion' now. I especially don't like the 'ranking' feature on some sites too, so please let's not get assimilated! :borg:
Please note, I'm no longer active on the Forum, so won't respond to messages.

Won't make a damn bit of difference to me. I've always viewed like buttons as a wet dream for the cliques.

It will be [emoji107] as soon as i get PC access, dont worry. I'm on TT today. A lot of time expended for nothing as far as i'm concerned. And still nobody can justify why exactly it has been introduced. Answer me that. Although, on second thoughts maybe i wont switch it off, that being work on my behalf to disable a feature i do not want. As i normally like all posts i read i could just 'like' each and every post and play the game like the kids do eh!

OK guys....I will step in now, I would think lessons are understood.

It is good to try things sometimes and good they can be relatively easy to reverse.

Its a big night for us all in the EU....whatever our thoughts we have that to start thinking about and the choices we will all soon have to make.

No politics please. Breach of forum etiquette. Liable to be reported to mods. Now where's that 'dislike' button.

None discussed

"whatever our thoughts" quite ambiguous mate...and obviously a closed comment to which no reply was courted.

I think your/our/most peoples point has been registered and accepted, hence the ability to turn it off if required.
I also agree with it as you saw in me being one of the first to object.

You managed to insert the "non political' use of the 'EU' phrase into that post in an attempt to influence my forum activity, subliminally. I"ve hit the 'Like' button to bump up your status ...

Well, I like it and would like to thank the mods for giving us (the other 13456 users) the option to use it, or not. No one is forcing you to use it, or the forum. Untwist your knickers.
