Would of killed for a set of these on the Activa to go with the other mods, I think they look very nice and of course the light output is a substantial improvement on the OE offerings. They are probably worth more than the average Xantia is at the moment.
When I got my black HDi eight years ago, to replace my knackered TD, Xantia's were ten-a-penny. Now it's got to the point where, on a couple of occasions, I've even had the comment of you don't see many of them around nowadays. There was a red petrol with the bouncing nose knocking around last year and I see a silver estate once a flood. Haven't seen a CX or XM in the 2.5 years I've had mine, although I did see a GS drive past a couple of months ago. Must have been lost.
As has been mentioned, it's the lack of them in the scrap yards that speaks volumes to me. The scrap mans logic is if you don't see them on the roads there's no point hanging on to them in the yard. As soon as it's clear out time they're gone.
If you live in Cambridgeshire you might see mine around as it just passed it's MOT but you'll have to be lucky as it only did 1200 miles in the last year and will be off the salty roads in the winter
No advises other than tyre's needing replacing from an age point of view, may get done before the winter but probably in the spring

What diameter are the dip/main units? I've been trying to get replacements for my 107's Morette lights for about a year now...if they're the same, cash may be waiting!
Current fleet:
07 Volvo V70 SE D5, 85 Sinclair C5, 84 Trabant 601S, 73 AC Model 70, 62 Rover 110.
My morrettes on the bx cracked a lense, local electrical automotive factors had them for £25iirc.
Weekend before last, a very kind forum member from the big smoke area was down here and dropped off the backbox i agreed to buy, for a brief moment, there were 3 silver p2 estates within 50yards of each other! An R,S and W reg! I used to regularly see a dozen around here but thats dropped, a young lad bought one local car (r reg td estate) tinted the rear 5 windows, rear boot spoiler, hid's, and big alloys, he sold it after a couple months, but then, a young lad and a 1.9td auto isnt the usual combo!
There are a couple of saloons i see about, saw another silver p2 estate on saturday when passing through. Truro, he was as surprised to see us as we of him, spotted an xm too but didnt have camera on me,
Not seen the red bx estate this year though, maybe that's gone the same way...
there are 2 styles of morrettes for the bx, the ones above with the Standard Cover for the lights 9or optics as they get called) Or the type that have a more recessed look and 'Eyebrows' as per those fitted to mine,
both sets look equally good though, there were at one stage half a dozen of us with them on the 16v site, 3 black cars too!
Well I went to Dol de Bretagne today and saw at least six Xantias (not counting mine), all hatchbacks and all in very good condition. Couldn't tell the ages though with the French number plates, or whether diesel or petrol as I went past.

IF you ever see a set of Morrette headlamps over there, please let me know
