With SVO prices rocketing to beyond the price of diesel I'm seriously considering the WVO option now. The big three are charging around £1.45ppl for Veg Oil, the greedy so-and-so's.
Fortunately, I recently managed to find 1L bottles of Veg Oil in Lidl for £1.09 so my tank is now brimmed (and surplus in boot) but history has proven that price or stocks won't last and boy, does it sting to recall it was only ~35ppl a couple of years back.
Interestingly, this Lidl oil is thinner than what I'm used to, meaning I didn't have to dilute it with expensive diesel this time, saving me even more.

It's a pain and almost embarrassing filling your car at the side of the road with SVO from 1 litre bottles though!
I would love to know where I could buy 205 litre drum!
I had a chat with the Bio diesel guy near me and I was trying to negotiate him down on a 1000 litre IBC but he reckons it has a USe By date of one month from purchase? Is this the norm?
