As usual with a modern TV advert, there is not one detail about the car. They do throw the words E-HDi into the advert though, with no explanation as to what that is. With a ogical cap on it could be Electronic-HDi, with a diesel engine and electronic motor, but logic also dictated that it wont be the case, as they would have made something more of it. So does it have stop/start technology?
Who knows, I can't be bothered to look it up, the car is too uninteresting.

Probably the "e" stands for economical or environmental.
It could have the best engine in the world and I've already decided I'll
never go near one with a bargepole; my feelings about a select few other
Citroens TBH.
Looks good yes, but the 'old' C4 was ergonomically badly flawed. The ridiculous angle of the A pillar meant I banged my head getting in and out every time I used one (borrowed - not owned!). And the visibility was rubbish too (mind you not as bad as the C5)...
The new car is neat and tidy; nothing much to offend ... except of course its blandness. Even the DS4 incarnation struggles to be interesting.
Citroen have clearly decided to play safe with their mainstream model. I bet it'll pay dividends. But won't become an admired car.
Pretty sure e-HDi is stop/start technology ie it stops the engine when the cars stops at lights etc, then auto re-starts when you want to move off. Saves on fuel consumption in the std urban test, so lower CO2 figures. Of limited use in real life if you don't spend all your time trolling about in cities, and a whole load more stuff to go wrong!
The front looks quite good, but the line along the side looks "wrong" in a similar way to some of the Seats, the Ibiza 5 door in particular. The back looks a bit like the new Astra. I do like the interior, something a bit more German about it, reminds me a bit of the latest A4, though it's a shame they ditched the steering wheel ...
The C4 Coupe was a good looking car. It'll be interesting to see what they do with this one - I predict it'll be a bit less bold, and a bit more boring to look at than the last one.
