keys, do they really have to be this big???!!

you should be able to get the key cut without going to the dealers, i've gotten keys done by a shoe repair shop for a laguna i had a few years back,

he put the existing key into a slot on this machine and it read the key then put the new key in an it put the code onto it,

he cut the key and it worked no problem, i got this done down a back street in a small town in ireland, if these lads have this technology i'm sure there is someone near you that can do it, and it only cost €40.

it always locks though so i was thinking the motor was ok?? i'll have to get my mate to help me investigate as i can't reach the boot when its open lol

oh and by motor do you mean the solenoid?

They're actually motors Ritchie. They have a rack and clutch inside them and it's the clutch that wears.

I've been looking at this forum for a long time now and have a reasonable memory of useful threads that have been written on various subjects...
