it's just the awkwardness of getting to the pipe that worries me, some things are a bit tricky for me to do
have a look on youtube.com/amazingfeet that should explain why!
I didn't realise they had a gsf in pompey near st marys, i bet you can't park there though!!! you never can in the one in worthing or cosham they always seem to open shops and forget about the parking!!!

better get the a/s done too then or flog the car!!!

I can't afford to get garage to do it though as i want id done properly!!!

Of the latest C5, only the top of the range has LDS hydraulics.

Does anyone know the genuine citroen accumulator sphere part number?? for my car, 2.0 20v w reg

found a genuine one on ebay which i believe are better than the gsf ones but need to know the part number so i can see if it's ok for my car

does anyone have a piccy of where the bleed screw is to de presurise the suspension system, do i need to bleed the air out after changing the accumulator or does the car do this for me???

Depressurising screw is right near the accumulator, on it's black painted mouning block. Look for a small bolt with a chunky (thicker than normal) head. You'll know if it's the right one, as with the car just turned off, a half turn of the correct screw will see a squawk from rushing fluid (it won't leak out), and the car will rapidly settle.

Don't confuse it with the two bolts which fix the accumulator assembly to the engine block - the half turn and listen trick will sort this out.
