The seller has been in contact, says he will get the radio code for me next week when he returns from business in Oz. 8)

I've got the radio code and it was accepted. I can't see me making much use of the CD changer nor the cassette player though.

Thank you and it was a relief not having to pay, the previous owner had it all along. But it may be too early to celebrate as I've made a few more unwanted discoveries - will post details in another thread.
