Re: Whatsthisthen?
I'm quite a fan of then Neil
They were an incredibly advanced car for their time and when you see them in the metal they are still amazing...
A mere photo cant express just how special they are... Shame they broke NSU... They were acquired by Auto Union who went on to become Audi...

I really ought to know that one as the lights are very distinctive but my memory has not yet woken up!

James is right. Estimate £18,000 to £22,000. Stunning looking car in my view.CitroJim wrote: 28 Oct 2022, 05:56 I really ought to know that one as the lights are very distinctive but my memory has not yet woken up!

Re: Whatsthisthen?
Looks very familiar but can't place it, same with the logo.
It will come to me, probably not this year though.

Re: Whatsthisthen?
I got it from having owned 3 reliants in my time I have always kept an eye on their range. I was tempted to buy an SS1 at the time my Lancia Beta Spyder came up so I went for that instead!!NewcastleFalcon wrote: 05 Nov 2022, 12:53Nice and precise Mick, that's what I got from IMCDB!

Re: Whatsthisthen?
Nice RX7, and the guide price is reasonable considering what it would cost to ship one from Japan:NewcastleFalcon wrote: 27 Oct 2022, 22:55 Another personal favourite design spotted at the WB and Sons Auction preview.

My only concern would be the cost of an imminent engine rebuild (£3000-3500) - these Mazda rotary engines need a lot of love, and the guy in the YouTube video noted that the engine had never been out of the car

Re: Whatsthisthen?
Most of those early cars had the rotary engine dumped and replaced with Ford V4s
