Another classic spotted on our way home but SWMBO was not too quick getting the picture so it makes an interesting which classic can you spot?
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

I'm assuming the car in front as it fossil fueled not electric/hybrid

Yes I ask the stupid questions, because normally it is that simple.

^^^^ As well as the Jeep, there's a Renault Megane EV in that pic with the green stripe a definite member of the Electric Vehicles spotting thread, but maybe not a classic yet!
------------------
Had a wander around WB and Sons Sunday club open house held the week before the next sale. Always nice to see the variety. The more ancient vehicles always look nice, have survived 60,70 or more years, and are generally well presented but of passing interest rather than stimulating a desire to bid on them. The Hillman Minx and the Rover P3 old timers fitted that category and will move on to the next owners at relatively cheap prices. Seeing as I'm in a badge photographing phase...no pics of the actual cars! The Volvo P1800 ES was very nice, as pointed out in the Video walkround front seats dont match the rears and look a bit out of place. I suspect the new owner will sort that straight away. The usual odd bit of exotica from the out of reach brands Whatever auction house it is, there is always a crop of vehicles from Mercedes/Audi/BMW/Porsche which in general hold no interest at all for me personally even though some appear in the "a lot of car for not much money category".
One vehicle I wanted a closer look at with half a thought to bidding on at the upcoming sale, was a Citroen 2CV Van. Sat in its interior and took this rather poor photo of the umbrella handbrake and the odd Gear knob. Its a bit of a head turner (mostly due to its unusualness), unlikely to depreciate much and would fit into the buy, enjoy, re-sell cycle with cost of ownership being pretty negligible providing too much isn't paid on the initial purchase. On to couple of makers names on bikes Neil

Loving the Suzuki bike
Painted in the standard and rather lovely Suzuki blue...
I can't tell exactly what model it is... Looks like a GT250 but I'm not sure now if there was a smaller RamAir twin... I must consult my books on the subject...

Re: I-Spy Classic Cars/Bikes-What have you spotted?
With your books on the way out possibly in your clear out Jim, here's some moving pictures from youtube of the very bike up for sale at my local classic auction WB and Sons at Killingworth this coming Saturday. (Sound quality on my laptop is useless! but I suspect its not the laptop, but the video which isnt up to the usual standard from WB.) Chromework close up not quite as impressive but a nice bike.CitroJim wrote: 10 Jul 2023, 12:18 Loving the Suzuki bikePainted in the standard and rather lovely Suzuki blue...

Ahh, a GT185
very desirable... An odd size, just as the GT380 was... I believe it may have been for tax breaks in some markets...
