OK thanks Steve I'll try and remember that the next time I encounter a playlist, at least I'll know where to find it!! :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Sandra Cygan, busker on the northern Polish coast.
Been busking for a couple of years and has to borrow violins to busk to accumulate cash to buy her own - in the beginning at least.
She is a bit Lindsay Sterling inspired.

I don't like dancing, always think people look like a bunch of marionettes jigging around but there was one video of her playing in that location and three blokes were tying to dance with her.
Her movements were so fluid, even while playing her violin, she made them look totally inept and clumsy.
Can't find it of course - she puts hundreds up.
Still only 15 although she appears older.
Always nice with the kids.

If you want a tidy way of posting a playlist you can:

[ url= ... hGZ1fnWeyV ]playlist[ /url]

Deliberately broken for display purposes.

Would normally appear as:

Junkies Playlist

The talent and abilities of young kids never fails to impress me.
This one looks barely old enough to tie her own shoes.

Klára Gibišová, eight years old!

Another one. I listened to her playing Mozart when she was eight too.
She is 15 now and plays both piano and violin superbly.
This is one of her violin concertos. She was 12 here.

She has also played a Carnegie Hall session with all her own compositions.
A bright future for both of these girls.

Now that is the best type of link there is, one that exists but apparently not realised by the author! One of Canned Heat's founders, Alan Wilson, wrote and recorded the protest song Poor Moon, expressing his concern that the moon race would pollute the moon and turn it bad!! :)

No idea why but this just popped into my head, earworm style -

Probably the worst thing The Shadows ever did. Apologies for the disturbance.
Always though it referred to Stockton in California. No idea why. Maybe it does.

Not according to Songfacts Steve...good old Stockton on Tees, written following Bassist Jet Harris "pranged his motor following a gig in Stockton-on-Tees.

As for the worst thing the Shadows ever did, have you ever come across "Alice in Sunderland" another of the Shads compositions.

No - and fortunately, I don't doubt.
Alice in Sunderland is used a lot round here due to it being partly written in Sunderland, as I'm sure you are aware and they were too.

Let the Shads autoplay on on youtube, and on it plays to their version of "Walk of Life". One of the commenters was a bit ill-informed and insisted it was a Shads original.
https://ultimateclassicrock.com/dire-st ... influence/
“I saw a photograph of a kid playing a guitar in a subway, turning his face to the wall to get a good reverb,” Knopfler said. “When I started playing the guitar, because I didn’t have an amplifier, I’d put the head of the guitar on the arm of a chair and put my head on the guitar to try and get into a loud noise. It kinda reminded me of that, I suppose.”

Classic FM was mentioned in another thread. I have it on in the kitchen now and then until I get fed up of the facile twittering and adverts.
I sometimes hear something I like but don't know, or recognise but can't put a name to.
In such cases I look it up on their website but recently I am unable to navigate the website.

All I get is this:
Screenshot from 2020-02-18 19-19-50.png
None of the controls work, just as in the screenshot.

Anyone else have this problem?

I just tried www.classicfm.com and everything works as expected. Is that the site you are using Steve?
