Here's an HDI Activa in France.

Which can also be seen here at a cheaper price!

Ah Oui an Activa with economy! 8-)

I.E. the fact that it's a DERV, not so sure about the purchase price!

Edit................. 1st link not working now!
2nd still O.K.

Having also looked at another ad on the same site, I found an Xantia with an identity crisis!

Edit................Title that was on this French link did say Xantia, now not there.

Is this an Activa 2.1 TD disguised by the advert? Look at the badge on the door.... and that's definitely a 2.1 engine!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LHD-CITROEN-XANTI ... 4154f29941

Expensive though.........

It might well be!!! Now if it is a genuine 2.1TD Activa then it's worth the asking price :D :D :D

Very desirable!

That is very very interesting :D

Its certainly a 2.1TD and that badge does look like the Activa badge.

Thats an absolute bargain if it really is a 2.1 Activa, i couldnt find them for anywhere near that in France last year.

That's a very iffy looking TD! Primer on the front bumper without front fogs
doesn't give any confidence in the actual spec or the side door trims being
genuine just because they say "Activa". Add in VSX alloys, a wavy front
left bumper and wing and correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't there be
a hydractive switch ahead of the height lever? Not the desirable car it may
first appear to be as far as I'd be concerned were it even a realistic prospect
to import over here.

Did anyone see that eBay Delage s2 Turboactiva in Gloucester/Bristol way
reappear after not selling for £410 the other day only to drop out into the
ether again? Anyone here buy it?

Of course! Your totally right Andrew, there is no sport button!

I did look at that but i forgot where it is on the Xantia. Id noticed the bumper without fogs, thought it could have had a bump and had it replaced, most S1s do seem to have front fogs.

It is an odd one then, though it is a 2.1TD, not a 1.9 as it suggests.

If the seats are actually from that car, the wear would suggest highish mileage.

Series II cars had the Hydractive button to the right of the steering wheel on RHD cars; presumably to the left on LHD cars.

Unless Andrew is foxing...

Can't anyone ask the seller for the serial number?

Hmm, i remember that now.

There is a black to the left of the wheel, all other buttons are filled. The black could be cruise control, as that is not on this car. So it could have hydractive.

 Truth is, I'm too lazy to walk a 100 yards to poke my head into my s2
Activa to confirm and have been driving the s1 VSX and Xantiae a lot lately.
I rarely manually override the sport on the hydractive anyhow.

Isn't there actually an airbag on'off key switch oaft of the height adjustment
too? Checking the support for the hydraulic feed onto the righthand front
strut just visible in the picture it does look quite meaty so go on then, it IS
hydractive?

Does it matter? Is anyone actually going to bid for this on this forum?

Have contacted the seller, warning him about a crazy bloke in Wales.

No, actually I just asked for the last eight VIN digits.

Owning a RHD S2 Activa myself, the two buttons on the left will be the internal alarm button and the "fun" button. To be honest, it looks like a mirror image of mine.

Not sure about the airbag switch but you know what those crazy frenchies are like :yikes:

Vendor is either ignoring me, away or an Ebay noob. No response to my questions yet...
