Re: Davie's french attraction.
Bog standard 10/40 semi should do it. I have a supply in the shed. An old xud wont need any fancy stuff. I dont want her breaking, not even looked at bigpug yet. It has been ousted out of my affections for the meantime. I need to show her love too lol

Re: Davie's french attraction.
Oh yes, just bog standard 10W/40 and changed every 3000 miles or so will be perfect for her Davie..
I've always used diesel fleet oil got in 20l drums from Costco for years in all my cars with no issues at all...
Swap the filter every time too
I tend to buy job lots on eBay every now and again to keep costs down... You will find Lilpug and Gabby share the same filter - just as Sally uses the same one as the Activa...

Re: Davie's french attraction.
Im 1/2 way through swapping the wheels between the berlingo and gabby. Ive decided not to put the original 14" steels onto beryl, as all 4 tyres need replaced, so putting on gabbys 15" steels and trims, which will give me more chance of selling it. If it does end up going to the scrappy they will come off and the rusty bald ones go on. Ive done this as although the front tyres are still legal they were nearly done and stuck on the back now. Ive inspected the brakes as im going along, rears look fine, and not that old really, removed the pads on the front, well the side ive had the wheel off to clean, and copperslip up. How fine it is spannering a car which has been looked after, no fighting nuts and bolts! Thank you previous owners. I have 2x5 litres oil, 3x oil filters, 3x fuel filters so an engine service on the cards too. I do not have an air filter for it, but I have a kenwood metal panel filter for a 2.0hdi c5. However I am not expecting it to fit. The air filter will be inspected, never know it may be ok with a clean. I will also fit the fuel pre heater for running veg. However, if the wheels and brakes are done today that will be enough. Its dry here, but very cold, and the chances are I will suffer for this the next day or two. Bigpug still being ignored. She looks pretty out on the street. Too expensive for an ornament though.

Re: Davie's french attraction.
All brakes were done on Gabby about a year ago Davie... New rear discs and pads plus the necessary caliper de-corrosion treatment and new front pads and new flexi hoses...
Yes, I know that from my Activa - because I've had that car for getting on 9 years now and it's all been apart a few times in those years it all still comes apart beautifully
It males for some genuinely pleasurable spannering

Buy it, then we can have a raffle on here to win it. You'd only have to sell 13 tickets at £5 a piece and you'd be in profit
I'd have a ticket. Hell, I might even have two.
