Blue Activa is back in its stable after a long time away in storage. Had a good look around it and have found several leaks that I may need help with replacing parts. The hydraulic pump I have from my old silver one, both Activa rams I have. But I'm thinking the ram on the steering rack has the biggest leak. Can I get replaced or is it a DIY repair jobby.

Great to see you again Holmedog :D

The Steering ram is not Activa-specific so any Xantia or XM one should replace it.

The leak may just be the leak-back collar on the end of it being split and perished...

It's good to be here again. My boy is 18 now and he wants to get stuck into restoring the old girl. It's going to be a long and hard plus expensive journey ahead. But it is journey I am willing to take. Just so I can drive my dream car again.

You used to be able to by looking at the XM one. There was never a replacement available for the Xantia but you could for the identical XM Steering Ram.

They're also used to repair Activa Rams...

Hopefully not NFP. Alasdair may be able to better advise...
