Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
This caught my eye, it has an unusual feature. Same reg as mine 65 plate, but my interior is black, always an indication that it came out of the Sunderland Factory. Early Leafs came with a light interior and were imported from Japan.
So is this an odd-bod, or maybe a direct import from Japan.
This thread on Speak-ev pondered the possibility of importing a Leaf from Japan, and some have done it as a cost-saving VFM option, I suspect it comes to the conclusion that in general its a bad idea and not worth the hassle!

Not sure what is the point of putting a white model badge on a white car.

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
Scads of them including a pair of those ?, a couple of ID4s. and an ID3.
Several Teslas, model 3 and Y.
A Polestar 2. An Ioniq 5 and many others. Teesside trip but not a single photo, not even of the stationary Chevy Bolt next door.

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
Bus trip to collect daughter's new C3. Didn't happen as someone had dinged the door and they were fitting a new one.
Several more Teslas, three Q5y things, Vauxhall electric van, small MG, four Leafs, a DS and a Taycan.

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
Loads of them, too many to remember but the usual Tesla, MG, DS, Kia collection. A very posh non-SUV BMW and among the plethora of Leafs a stand-out was the taxi that stopped in front of the bus to do a three point turn in a busy road. Had he driven another hundred yards he could have turned into a side street to maneuver.

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
It's getting ridiculous now. I forget the ones on the way to Durham and back last night but just now, a four mile round trip, dozens of them including seven Teslas, Ys an 3s. A big and small BMW, a couple of Audis, an Hyundai, a Volvo, an I-pace and a DS.
And those are just the ones I can remember.

They are diffinately getting more popular, soon there will have to be a new thread "Fossil Fuel Vehicles, what have you spotted?"myglaren wrote: 30 Jun 2023, 13:26 It's getting ridiculous now. Plus, in a 2-mile drive, two MGs, one Leaf, an Hyundai and a C4.

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
The first two miles yesterday had a surprising number of them, the second 25 miles very few.
A couple of Teslas, another Leaf and a Kia, plus an unidentified thing, only the green flash gave it away.
