Just flew through the MOT emissions test as nothing was coming out of the back!!! Major leak near the front join, they mentioned spring/bolts if that helps to narrow down the diagram required. Thanks in advance.

I believe you've hit the nail on the head. I believe it would be part number 13 in the above diagram.

Unread post by super8 »

Hi,

I hope you are able to help. I am looking for the part number for the rear track rod. I presume there are two parts for each rear side.

Oh dear, I've seen used parts a lot cheaper. Their prices are crazy! Would it be worth buying used?

Would this one do? same part,

I don't want to get into an aftermarket parts discussion here, I hope you understand, as I strictly moderate this Official Parts-only Thread, but in answer to your question: Yes the original part is extortionately expensive, and of course a used part will be much cheaper - but you problem is going to be that this link has bushes in either end - and it is used... So you are taking a chance on how much service life it will have. But of course you may want to try and get the best one you can from as lower a mileage donor vehicle you can. Some second hand spares sites will tell you the year and mileage of the donor vehicle. Even if you got another 2-3 years out of the replacement and had to replace it again - it still may work out better than the cost of a new one.

Please note that there are some major changes taking place with Stellantis at present and this includes Access to Parts and Technical Services as they migrate accounts to a new system.

The area of the site that we use is currently under maintenance for a few days (12th to the 13th for sure), so to avoid a backlog of requests, we have temporarily locked this thread.

Once we know more, we'll provide any updates here.

Thank you for your understanding.
