I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Yes, well done, the move from the Julian Calendar to the Gregorian Calendar involved the skipping of 10 days.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gregorian_calendar

...and the tenuous "what are the chances of that happening link?" went from the artist who featured on the 2,000's heardles this morning, to one of the songs she covered which I recognised, to my selection of a version of that song by "Gregorian" a German "band", from their Masters of the Chant II recording.

Gregorian chant rarely features if ever on the Pickled Egg Jukebox...but did today on the 440th Anniversary of the move to the Gregorian Calendar!

A tricky start to the 60s resulted in an unusual 5 secs to ID it, but the rest much more usual, a big fat zero! :-D

Back to winning ways
Result
Falcon 4 Heardle 3
60's (17 secs); 80's (8 secs); 90's (2 secs) 00's (2 secs) I quite like them, lay down an energetic beat and some quirky lyrics...have a feeling they will be in the "terrible din" category for others :-D

No missed chances today. Never going to get the others.

Original: Clueless.
Sixties: Sixteen seconds.
Seventies: No idea.
Eighties: No. Only heard them in a collaboration.
Nineties: No. Would have turned it off after the first words.
00s: No. Would have turned it off after three seconds.
New 00s. No. Sounds like somebody chucking bins down a stone staircase.

A slight memory hiccup and my impatience with it caused me to take 5secs for the 60s but recovered with a 2secs shot on the 70s..
The rest remained the usual sounds in the smog to me but I won't be doing anything to rectify that!! :-D

Falcon 5 Heardle 2
60's (8 secs); 70's (2 secs); 80's (5 secs); 90's (5 secs); 00's (10 secs)

Handed out a pasting to heardle today, after they netted early with an obscure original.

Original: Nope. It said "Unlucky". I disagree. Dreadful.
60s: 2"
70s: Nope. Never heard that before.
80s: Thought I should know this but couldn't name song or group.
90s: Another flop.
00s: No chance. Awful.
Alt 00s: Fail again. Eldest daughter's favourite band. Can't stand them.

Another routine performance in Maverick Manor today. Instant recognition of the 60s, as everyone else will have, followed by faint recognition of the 70s and 90s but no answers. The rest the normal blank! :-D

Been a while since the links were put up. Have a go at the Heardles popular music intro's game for a bit of daily exercise. :-D

Still interesting enough for me, in spite of some ungettables outside my own comfort zone of the 60's 70's and 80's

Original: No chance.
60s: Two seconds.
70s: Flop. Don't like him but his wife is great. Chalk & cheese.
80s: Eight seconds.
90s: Fifteen seconds, except got the wrong singer.
00s: Flop, would never have got that.
Alt 00s: Not a hope.

Falcon 6 Heardle 1
Original (16 secs); 60's (2 secs); 70's (17 secs); 80's (2 secs), 90's (12 secs); 00's (2 secs)

and a missed chance on the Alt 00's. One of my newly acquired appreciations after her tremendous theatrical performance from her Reputation tour, of this song (not the heardle one much more of an edge to this one)
Spoiler: show
I did something bad

A difficult day on the heardles with just one track correct. Unsurprisingly that was the 60s but even that took 12secs!! So time to forget that miserable effort and concentrate on the F1 track and the Japanese Grand Prix!! :-D
