GiveMeABreak wrote: 08 Sep 2024, 14:15 No, that's not right. 13510 is the unique build date for your vehicle - I can't advise of the exact change over of facelifted models but I believe the MK 1 3008 had a facelift in 2014 sometime. The MK II was released at some point in 2016 and the MK III sometime in 2024.

0952 isn't a valid fault code, but if you do find it, post it up on the technical Forum please, not in the parts section. When I see that, I'll see if I have a diagram or not and post it there.
It’s on the audio CAN so not sure if there should be a prefix to the 0952.

This is a facelift model as far as I am aware not the very early model which did surprise me seeing as it was built in 2013. It has the little dinks up on the headlights at the side.

Hi, I recently had my engine replaced, but I am not sure if it was really replaced!. The mechanic said so, but I don't feel any difference. Since I don't have access to the original engine S/N can you provide me the info? My VIN number is: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]. Thanks. (Sorry for my poor English, I live in Greece).

Hi,

I'm looking to replace the rear under tray on my Grand C4 Picasso 65 plate 1.6 HDi 120

VIN: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

My car has the optional space saver spare wheel.

I'm looking for the plastic cover that goes under the wheel from the rear bumper forward - apologies, I'm not sure of he correct name. In the past my vague memory seems to think I used to unhook the sheet just behind the bumper and lower it down to be able to access the spare wheel and case holding the jack.

Any help on what it is called and a part number very much appreciated.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Tony

Hi

Let me know which item from the following you need a part number and price for, but see my note below first...
mathemagic under body.PNG
Note: You don't have 3, 5, 6 or 7 for this vehicle, in case you thought they were 'missing'. They were never fitted for this specific vehicle.

Thank you for the reply Marc,
I'm now doubting myself. I was convinced that there was an undercover similar to part 70 but for the part of the car from the rear wheels back, but am now not so sure.
I'll have another look when the car is (hopefully) fixed at the end of the week.

Part (70) is just a fixing that secures (1) to (4), Tony, but you should have Items (1), (2) & (4)

Ah, sorry, me reading the diagram incorrectly.
I've previously had to replace the big part - number 1 and thought there was something similar at the rear of the car.

No, never fitted when it was built at the factory - may be because of the exhaust / engine / emissions system or other equipment fitted on this vehicle.

Hi Marc,
first of all - thank you for your effort. If the technical terms dont make sense please let me know, a translater has been used for it. Now to my issues :D, a checkup has revealed the following:
  • Headlight, left fog light not working
  • Suspension, shock absorber of the 2nd (rear) axle on the right is leaking
  • Axle / Suspension, front axle wishbone on the left lower side worn out
  • Axle / Suspension, front axle wishbone on the right lower side worn out
  • Engine / Drive, dust boot (driveshaft) front right torn
  • Engine / Drive, dust boot (driveshaft) front left torn

Except maybe the foglight (if its the bulb, or fast to just replace the whole part), I would like to replace all the mentioned parts. I´ve been told, that the wishbone should be just replaced, not fixed, because it will be cheaper than fixing the current ones. I would like to do that.

Its a C5 Exclusive HDi 200 from 2011, VIN: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

DAM: 12541

One more thing, if its not too much trouble to ask. Are there aftermarket brands you can recommend? Or in general parts you can recommend in this case?

Appreciate your help!! If there is anything else, please let me know. Thanks!

No problem, leave it with me for a few minutes

The fog lamp bulb is shown so assume you need a bulb if it's not working?

Fog

(10) Font Fob Light Bulb, H8 12V 35W, Part 6216E8, £46.73
Cheaper bulb, part: 1637237980, £18.85

However, if water has gotten into the light unit and it's misting up and you require the compete unit (which includes the bulbs for the indicator and the fog lamp), then:

(1) Complete Fog Lamp, (Left), part: 6208J4, £197.56

Suspension
just rear strut.PNG
(1) Rear Suspension Strut, part: 527299, £236.58

Front Axle

(6) OEM Citroen Original Wishbone (Left), part: 9663980880, £614.28
Citroen Cheaper Alternative, part: 1682733380, £380.03

OEM Citroen Original Wishbone (Right), part: 9663980980, £579.56
Citroen Cheaper Part: 1682733080, £339.68

Note: Be aware that if you get a clunking when driving off or braking, this can be the bush that I have highlighted in red that is in the Hub Bearing Assembly, which is not sold separately. You can buy these and replace them independently from elsewhere.

Driveshaft Boots

(3) Driveshaft Gaiter Kit, (Wheel Side), part: 3293C8, £79.61
Driveshaft Gaiter Kit (Axle Side), part: 3287C9, £50.33

These are for official Citroen parts, but now that you have the correct part numbers, you can search on these to find alternative suppliers.

Good evening and thanks a lot for the effort Marc!

I do have an additional question regarding the two wishbones. During some research I came accross the part description 3520.W2 & 3521.S5 being mentioned as made of aluminum and then also 3520.X6 & 3521.T7 for being made of steel. Can I use both for my mentioned car? Is there a preferred one?

Thanks
Rob
