It's a fuel tank that looks to hold 20 plus gallons , he's either building a boat or using it to fuel a heating system , if its going in a garage , maybe matt's doing bio diesel ? And using this to drip feed it through the system or around the other way this stores his home made fuel

No idea what the tank is for but here is a slightly larger one. It is the replica WW1 tank built with Guy Martin a few years ago. On display outside the Lincoln White Hart hotel where they came up with the design in 1915 and a blue plaque has been fastened on the hotel. It is there just for today and is normally at the Norfolk tank museum.
In one picture I noticed a young man so engrossed in his phone he has walked passed it and not noticed the enormous tank and transporter. On another an older man has his head inside having a good look.

Ahh, I recognise it now :D My ML7 sits on a very non-standard supporting structure. One that takes up considerably less room than the one you have Matt...

That indeed was a true bargain. Shocked at how much the new, genuine article costs

Do you have an ML7 or Super 7 to sit on top of it or is that your next planned acquisition now you have the stand?

A lathe in the workshop is an exceedingly useful tool...

So does mine at present: an office type steel table leg frame and a couple of pieces of timber. It's deeper than needed. Has a useful shelf underneath but otherwise isn't perfect.

There is another available, same seller, very slightly more tatty:

Ahhh, he's a canny chap - he's put the price up a bit! Now up for £99.99
(£94.99 with coupon)

Err, only if the feeds and speeds aren't too high! And possibly with a splash or two of lubrication - otherwise could be very hot! :-D
