The older stuff is 5w40, I'll look up the ACEA specification in a bit, the petrol EW10J4 and old 8v DW10 HDi can have the same stuff from memory. Though neither of those engines/cars are on the road at present so oil changes somewhat academic presently!
Good information on oil specifications here:

Blue 308 SW
145745 miles, Adblue topped up. Approx 1.75 litres.

Hoped I could empty my big Adblue container - nope!
Annoying bit left!
Annoying bit left!
Despite this bottle with spout only ever having seen Adblue with the addition of the Wynn's Crystal clear and protect stuff, some evidence of crystallisation on the spout where the dregs have had chance to dry out.

Blue crystallisation another threat to keep on top of motoring is a challenge nowadays

That's a worrying level of crystallisation considering it's been treated

I did have a thought wondering if there's something in the air which it's reacting to. Or is it just natural when it's exposed to air it does it

Yes I was surprised to see it, however it's quite small. I wonder if the stuff restricts the size of the crystals (and hence keeps them at a point where pump and Adblue injector can handle them without clogging??)

My understanding is Adblue is basically urea (an acid) and water (to dilute it) so eventually when the water has evaporated off, the urea remains (and forms crystals) - will have a dig to confirm if my understanding is correct.

If reusing the spout it may be a good idea to swill it with water after use to clean it, then any chance of crystals forming and dropping into the car Adblue tank are gone. If the tank contents were concentrated then adding crystals could cause more to form or they may not dissolve - unlikely with such a small amount but possible if saturated. Swilling also stops crystals dropping on the garage floor/shell and having to be cleaned up.

Yes, that's right Matt - it's like sea water, leaves behind the dissolved solids once the water has gone (but worse as there is much more urea!). I guess the additive is to stabilise the solution and try and stop any solids forming in areas that are normally full of liquid. I'm pretty sceptical it does much TBH....

Yes, I do normally swish a bit of water around the fill point in the car if I've sploshed any stuff - especially since discovering around the fill point (essentially the top of the Adblue tank itself) drains freely onto the floor, so a bit of water doesn't sit without anywhere to go.

But... I've never thought to clean out my bottle with spout! #-o that's a very sensible idea - will do so now.

Makes sense, thank you :)

Well thats a subject that would spark some interest. As for the ad blue a mate of mine whom is a mechanic said a young saturday boy poured a whole tub of this into a brand new bus , in the diesel tank and it caused over £16k in repairs to the engine

Usual Sunday morning trip :)

Turning this:
Two bins and a full trailer
Two bins and a full trailer
Into this:
Low profile (empty) bins for aerodynamics

Since you mentioned it Matt, I think you should load the empty bins the other way round to give you more downforce over the trailer axle and thus improve your drifting capabilities on the way home!! :-D
